Affordable Smoky Mountain Christmas - Day 7

Sunrise at Cades Cove
Morning breaks at Cades Cove

Our affordable Smoky Mountain Christmas!

What a fun day! We were at Cades Cove at sunrise and the animals were out! I finally saw a bear in the wild and that was just an awesome experience. Saw plenty of wildlife.

Then we headed to Smoky Mountain Deer Farm and petting zoo to feed critters. It isn’t Annicakes thing and that’s ok. She was involved by documenting it with video and her own play-by-play.

Say whaaa?

We went to this restaurant called The Local Goat. (We packed lunches too, oh well). Very good food.

Later that night we headed to “Bigfoot and the Bee” shop. To say I was in heaven…wow. Half the store was Bigfoot. I found the Hipster Bigfoot shirt in my size too! SOLD!

We had dinner at Paula Deen’s Kitchen. Is all southern food cooked with so much salt? Dang lady!

We bummed around The Island and shopped. The girls both made Build-A-Bears. Lex an axolotl and Annicakes picked out a bear with pajamas that say Smoky Mountains on it. It’s cute. We were all pretty tired so we zonked out pretty early.
