Australian Adventures - Sydney Zoo

4/22: part 8

We met Cherie!! Love this gal! We walked to breakfast and then headed to the Taronga Zoo. You take a ferry to it. Very very neat zoo.

We saw a Komodo dragon, which was cool. Tons of Australian animals and then traditional zoo animals. They have wild lorikeets here, the birds you can feed at zoos that drink nectar. This was very neat to us as Ed and I had one as a pet when we were first married.

Afternoon, we headed back to the hotel as a group and hit the street markets. I got an adorable 3 piece wiener dog pillow set.

We chilled at the hotel bar until time to head to Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. We had a wonderful evening but sooo tired. All these long days are catching up with us.
