An Iceland Adventure - Leaving An Icy Treasure Behind

We picked up a few easy Icelandic words on our trip.  For example, foss means waterfall.  Hallo means hello. Honestly the majority of the time trying to read street signs I felt like I was preparing to construct IKEA furniture.

There is one Icelandic saying I came across when planning:  Þetta reddast. This means, “it’s all going to work out in the end.”  It did. The weather was crazy but didn’t ruin our activities. We were prepared with layered clothing, snow pants, a heavy parka, cute wooly reindeer hat.

This trip tested me with my travel knowledge and adaptability.
